Worksheet 1: 52%Young Adult Live With Their Parents
1. Writing
According to English Breaking News, 52% of young adults in the US live with their parents. In my personal view, this is not a problem as long as it does not burden parents. It is even better to be with one's parents than to experience deprivation in the outside world. However, should a 21-year-old child leave their parents' house? Of course, it would be better if they were able to live independently by living separately from their parents. Here are some reasons why 21-year-olds should live separately from their parents:
1. Parent’s opinions are different with children
The age of parents is certainly not the same as the age of children today. Likewise with the views held by each. The many different views sometimes make children uncomfortable and not free to decide something related to their future. If we have very different views from our parents, it could be a sign that we should live separately from our parents. But, don't forget to think carefully!
2. More maximal work
In this digital era, all forms of activity cannot be separated from technology. Not all parents understand what we are doing. Starting from studying to working can be done using technology anytime and anywhere. By living separately from our parents, we can be freer to work without any distractions. But, don't forget to explain it to your parents carefully!
3. Focus on life goals
Often alone will make a person think more clearly and focus. When we live apart from our parents, we will be able to know ourselves better and understand the purpose of life. Without disturbing questions, we will be able to focus more on the things that are our goals in life.
4. Learn to be responsible
When you live apart from your parents, you will get a lot of freedom. However, we must also learn to take care of ourselves. Do housework such as cleaning and cooking. We will be able to learn to be more responsible with ourselves.
5. Learn to Live Independently
The most important part of living apart from parents is training to live independently. If at home we can live comfortably without thinking, when we are alone we will be trained to keep thinking. Leave your comfort zone by trying to solve each problem yourself.
In addition, if we are independent and live alone, it is certainly very helpful for our parents' financial dependents. the more young people rent a property or invest, of course, this will increase the economy rapidly. Not all parents will understand the condition of their children. However, when you feel a lot of things that are holding you back, you can express them kindly.

a) What do you think of young adults?
Answer : In my opinion, young adulthood is the period that starts around the age of 18 to 22 years and ends at the age of 35 to 40 years. Young adulthood is the most dynamic stage of development throughout the human life span. Here it is explained that a person experiences many changes – progressive changes physically, cognitively, and psychosocial-emotionally, towards a more mature and wiser integration of personality. Young adulthood is a time when individuals have responsibility for their actions, attitudes, desires and do not depend on others
b) What do you think of living at home?
Answer : In fact, many cultures around the world consider it normal to live with one's parents. As an adult in your 20s or 30s, there are advantages and disadvantages to moving back. I think staying at home is the most comfortable thing because you can always be with your family, you can tell stories to each other, protect each other and help each other.
c) Why are more young people living at home?
Answer : Several psychological reasons make a child stay at his parents' house. One of them is because they are not married. Another reason is due to economic factors. Not all children or their spouses have fantastic incomes. So to save money, they can stay at their parents' house. Also because of a harmonious relationship with parents because they enjoy life with their parents and make them feel at home to live. In fact, more than a quarter said they would never leave their parents.
d) What are the good things about living with your parents?
Answer: Advantages of Living With Your Parents
1. You will save money. One of the biggest advantages of living with your parents is that you can save even more money. You'll save on rent, utility bills, renovations, shared grocery bills, and more.
2. You won't have to do all the housework. Living in a multigenerational setting means there are a lot more hands to the work. You won't have to do so much housework since there will be more people to pitch in on all those daily chores.
3. Someone will cook a nice meal when you can't.
4. Your parents can help with your kids.
5. The satisfaction of helping your parents.

GDP during the Great Depression fell by nearly half.
A combination of the New Deal and World War II lifted the U.S. out of the Depression.
g) Has coronavirus affected you financially?
Answer : The coronavirus also has an impact on finances, especially the lower-middle-class people because they have to lose their jobs due to job breakers from where they work.
h)How has coronavirus affected your country financially?
Answer :
Indonesia has experienced a decrease in the percentage of the economy due to the influence of the coronavirus. The impact of the declining percentage of the economy in Indonesia, one of which is the increase in unemployment and the poor population caused by layoffs during the Covid-19 pandemic. The government's decision to implement Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) in several regions since April 2020 has had a wide impact on the production process, distribution, and other operational activities which in turn disrupted economic performance. One of the impacts caused by the coronavirus is the decline in investment numbers in various business sectors. The next impact is the weakening of the regional and national economies. Decrease in tax revenue, slowing economic growth in Indonesia. Also, the impact is the weakening of household consumption or the weakening of the purchasing power of the wider community.

Wait until the family's financial situation is stable then think carefully.
